Real Estate Video Interview From Panama With Ivan Carlucci Sucre, President of ACOBIR (Association of Panamanian Real Estate Agents and Promoters)

February 16, 2007

ACOBIR is an acronym in Spanish for a national association of real estate agents in Panama that works with and is structured much like the US based National Association of REALTORs (NAR). The association’s current president, Ivan Carlucci Sucre, has a long family history of real estate sales.  In fact, his mother had previously held the position of president for the same association multiple times.

Panama really has become a hot market in the part years.  Ivan is at the center of the action.

During this 6 minute English language video interview, Ivan talks about the association, its goals and activities, and the process for agents to become members. Ivan also is a representative to the UN on real estate issues dealing with Panama.

Ivan is also very active in promoting the association.  Not only did he take the time to sit down in his office to do real estate video interviews with us in English and Spanish, but we also ran into him again at the Central American Congress for real estate integration in Nicaragua several weeks later. ACOBIR in Panama also runs is a huge real estate conference in March in the Republic of Panama (17-24 March 2007).

Ivan is an impressive guy that not only runs a successful real estate ageny but also spends a great deal of time and effort promoting Panama and working to maintain the professional standards of the real estate agents within the country. It was clear to us during our video interviews with Ivan in English and Spanish that he was very successful and very well connected not only in the world of Panama real estate but also a respected active member of the greater Latin American real estate community.
