Comparing Real Estate Video Services And Pricing Models For Property Videos

We just completed a quick review of some competitors pricing models and thought that we might compare and contrast some the differences with our competition. We think that we have a business that provides substantial value to you even at the standard level while preserving your control of branding and distribution.

For those that want to “cut to the chase”, here is the summary:

Where Some Differences Might Be

Your Brand Has Value: Our customers tend to be agents, brokers, portals, and marketing organizations. We know that you have worked hard to establish your brand and that brand has value. We believe that customers have the right to control their own online branding and distribution of that brand without having to pay extra for that privilege.  It is *your* brand after all – particularly in the case where you have filmed and/or edited content.  We believe that the value in co-branding works both ways so why should you have to pay for a service, pay a likely surcharge on top of that, and then have another brand still featured more strongly than yours?

Premium Services And Fees Should Provide Tangible Added Value: If prospective buyers go to agent/broker sites and real estate portals to search for properties and the basic intent of a real estate video is to sell your property, why is syndicating your property video to all but the most popular of these types of sites often viewed as some sort of premium service?  It’s ok..we dont understand it either. To us, the power of video in the selling video is the ability to go where the buyers are while retaining the power of your brand. Some sites have certainly earned the right to charge extra but the traffic should be well worthy of any premium fees.

It’s About You And Not About Us: Our job is to provide a sustainable method to sell your properties and support your needs. Standard pricing should be fair and provide enough value to sell your property. There is responsibility on our part to seve your needs. Our responsibility is to know how to make that prossible and still do the things that we need to do to be a sustainable business. It is also to provide develop the audience required that will give you the best chance to sell your property…wherever that prospective might be.
