Real Estate Video Conversion For The iPhone Available Starting Today

January 20, 2008

We’ve made the changes necessary to start streaming vidlisting videos to the iPhone browser.  Unlike the majority of video services, you won’t need to upload your video in an iPhone compatible format.  This should make it very easy for people new to real estate video to quickly upload their content with a minimum of conversion work.

The following groups of customers will receive iPhone viewable content beginning today (or when the specific program launches):

All customers that have their video professionally produced using the Vidlisting Professional Filming Service under any of the 4 available plans (flat rate, performance based pricing, luxury, or commercial)

Paid members of the Vidlisting Club Real Estate Video.  This includes Lenscap level members as well as Premium level members.

Paid members of the upcoming Vidlisting Video Podcasting Network

– Members of the Real Estate Video Partner Program

Also, we have a plan to retroactively convert existing paid content (as time and resources permit).  We understand that our current site doesn’t have a way to indicate which videos are viewable via iPhone.  Therefore, real estate videos that have been converted to be viewable on the iPhone will be marked with a special icon.  Again, we anticipate that all content after posted after today will have that icon and we’ll be working to get all previous content identified as iPhone viewable as well.
